an alien invasion story
The Shifters is a short alien invasion script that I wrote in January 2025 for my monthly free comic book scripts challenge. The main inspiration for the story was a news article I read saying that apparently there is now so many AI generated images on the Internet that AI started learning on itself, creating strange and bizarre results (more so than before, that is).
In September 2025 I got contacted by French artist Fabrice who told me that he's developing my script into a comic for a webzine on a website lemonart-fr.carrd.co.
In April 2026, Fabrice let me know that the comic is finished as a part of the Zestes d'art #2 webzine (it's the very first comic in the linked PDF). The comic is in French, but you can compare it with my original script in English.
