The Cemetery is a short modern gothic story that I wrote in February 2023 as a part of my monthly free comic book scripts challenge. It was partially inspired by the works of Neil Gaiman and Edgar Allan Poe.

In May 2026 I was contacted by a Spanish aspiring comic artist Paula Gonzalez Rueda who told me that she adapted my script into a short comic. At the time she was also working on her own online portfolio, so we agreed that I'll wait for it to be ready before presenting the comic here, so that I could credit her properly. Paula's portfolio was then ready to go in June 2026 and you can now check it out here.

The Cemetery was also adapted in June 2024 by a UK artist Dan Kelby.
