Hello, everyone! My name is Václav Urbánek and I'm an amateur comic book writer.

I've always been fascinated by the medium of comics and how one can explore storytelling through them. I experimented with comic writing here and there over the years, but my first proper step into it was in 2022, when I started posting free short scripts for any artists to draw on r/ComicBookCollabs on Reddit, which I am still doing.

As some of you may know, I used to have a Substack newsletter that I used to show off my work, but the platform didn't really suit me so I decided to go all in and actually build a portfolio website using JuicyFolio.

Here you can find my monthly free scripts as well as some short comics based on them by talented artists. I'm also planning to write updates on my future projects that you can subscribe to in my newsletter below.
